About Questlust

Questlust is a lifestyle and travel blog for delightful discoveries, where travel guides, recipes, creative projects, and practical ideas meet everyday curiosity.

Welcome to Questlust

Dive into the world of Questlust, where the quest for the good life meets a lust for delightful discoveries.

It began as a place to gather the things that make life feel big. It brings together practical travel guides, honest recommendations, recipes worth repeating, and creative projects.

But mostly, it captures those everyday moments that linger long after grand plans have faded. At its core, it is about staying curious and paying attention to what quietly matters.

Meet Ida Eriksson

Hej! I’m Ida Josefin Eriksson.

I’ve spent over 15 years as a content creator, photographer, and visual storyteller — a career path best described as “this will only take a minute.

Based in Umeå, in Northern Sweden, I’m doing my best to balance creative work with the beautiful chaos of raising two kids.

Questlust is a love letter to curiosity, built for thoughtful travel, creative ideas, and everyday moments that deserve your attention.

A Different Kind of Adventure

I have always believed that adventure does not have to mean going far. Sometimes it is discovering a hidden café in your own city. Sometimes it is rearranging a corner of your home. Sometimes it is watching your children splash in a puddle and thinking: this is it.

More Than a Lifestyle & Travel Blog

Questlust is also something more personal. It is, in many ways, a quiet tribute to my younger sister, Elin, who died by suicide. After losing her, collecting the small things that make life feel big became more than a creative habit. It became a way of holding on. A way of noticing what remains. A way of choosing to keep looking for light, even when life feels fragile.

This space is where I gather those discoveries. The beautiful, the useful, the meaningful. Not because life is always easy, but because it is always worth paying attention to.

If something here inspires your next trip, sparks a new idea, or simply offers a moment of pure escapism, then Questlust is doing exactly what it was meant to do.

Keep exploring
